Drawing people is difficult, especially in second grade. Recently, students tackled the challenge by creating a family portrait. Students were asked to create a scene of their choosing, demonstrating their family together during a memory or common family activity. We started by practicing drawing people using shapes, instead of relying on simple lines.
Students created their designs in pencil, and then colored in using crayons, watercolors, and markers. The designs are truly one of a kind, and showcase the amazing community we have here in District 96.
